JD Wire Mesh fabricate a large range of perforated screens for our customers. Our Perforated screens include round, square, rectangular, hexagon/diamond and slotted.

Perforated screens offer longer screen life and excellent efficiency, as Perforated screens have the distinct advantage of utilising tapered holes to reduce the chance of clogging during machine running time.

Perforated screens are installed with the smooth side facing the materials to be screened. To reduce the chances of pegging, it is important to consider the shape of the material in relation to the perforation shape. Regular shaped material is suited to square perforations and irregular shaped material is suited to round perforations.

Opening shape: Round and square perforations are most suited forscreening. Slotted and elongated perforations are used for dewatering bucketsor alternatively for bespoke applications

perforated screens plates are supplied with 60 or 90 degree pitches which aredetermined specific to their application. It's important to consider the bridgebetween the holes should generally be greater than the thickness of thematerial in order to make the screen durable. In certain cases flow is moreimportant than longevity.

Mining and aggregate

We supply screens and perforated metal plates for:

   • Fracking: In-field fracking removes oil and water. Accurate supplies perforated metal that lines the roll-off dumpsters, as well as the perforated metal pipes that handle fracking fluids at high pressures.

   • Drilling: Shaker screens are made with perforated metal frames supporting a wire cloth laminate to recover the expensive "mud" lubricant used in drilling.
