Stainless steel is easy to fabricate and offers easy maintenance, often stainless steel 316 is used in the biotech, medical and pharmaceutical industries because it is a highly stable material that performs well under different environmental conditions. There are over 200 types of stainless steel however, these are the four main grades of steel used in these industries; stainless 304, 304L, stainless 316 and 316L. These stainless steel grades re not reactive, however stainless steel 316 is more resistant then 304 against acid and base attacks. Stainless is resistance to hostile chemical compounds and offers protection from contamination.
Perforated stainless steel is used for sterilization, component parts, ventilation, machinery equipment, cleaning and drainage, cryogenic storage containers and to facilitate drying. JD Hardware Wire Mesh wide range tooling and machinery allows to manufacture tailor made solutions as well as standard metal perforated metal stainless steel products.
