Noise Absorbing Barrier Aluminum Panels are commonly used in construction of highway and expressway and other facilities for control of noises and wind. The metal sheets also play the role of a privacy screen or fencing panel for the enclosed sites or facilities. Hence the panels are designed to be sound proof and wind resisting. Sound absorption: EN 1793-1,DLα = 12 dB (A4) EN 16272-1. DLα = 13 dB; Sound insulation: EN 1793-2, DLR = 25 dB (B3) EN 16272-2 (7) , DLR = 30 dB ISO 717-1. The materials are fire retardant metals or fibers. Noise control panels are often used with W beam guardrails and metal fences to form a complete fencing system for the highways.
